The Youth Center - Teen Group

The teen groups meets to come up with ideas
for the Youth Center. Events are discussed and planned and the group is
looking for ways to improve the center and get more youth involved. If
you are interested in being involved, please stop by the center and check
things out.
The next Teen Council meeting is
scheduled for:
Tuesday - September 8, 2009 at 6:00pm
Teen Meeting Notes:
September 1, 2009 - 6:00pm
 Attending
the meeting were: Jacob, Beth , Diane, Charlotte, Kathy, Pam and Sharon.
Decorating
the float for AFAD was discussed. It was decided that the float decorations
would be
worked on throughout the week and that the 11th would be the day the float
would be
put together. Jacob said he would get volunteers to help with that.
Volunteers
were decided to ride on the float and to work the mud bogs later in the
evening.
There was a discussion about if the volunteers would be able to watch the
mud bogs
or not. Charlotte said if we have enough volunteers, they could.
A
date was decided for a dance to be held on October 9, 2009. Charlotte was
able to
get a DJ to volunteer
to play the dance. WAY TO GO CHARLOTTE! The dance will be
from 7:00pm until
10:30pm.
There
was a discussion about some of the Halloween events coming up, the spooky
house and
a dance were discussed.
It
was decided that during meetings, ALL cell phones should be turned off.
It is
important
for the volunteers to pay attention to the meeting and what is being palnned
and discussed.
The
next meeting was scheduled for September 8, 2009 at 6:00pm.
